Hosted by Oak to Timberline Fire Safe Council’s partner Sierra Resource Conservation District, AmeriCorps Team Blue 6 is a group of committed volunteers who spent March 2022 in Pinehurst / Miramonte, helping make our neighborhoods safer! 

 

Under the direction of SRCD’s Ian Ashby, they worked hard on fuel reduction and fire preparedness in Pinehurst, Miramonte, and Dunlap.

Fun Fact! The Team hauled over 2 tons of brush to be masticated or chipped in one month!!​
