Blue 6, Gold 4, and Red 7

Hosted by Oak to Timberline Fire Safe Council’s partner Sierra Resource Conservation District, AmeriCorps Team Blue 6 is a group of committed volunteers who spent March 2022, March 2023, and December 2023 in Pinehurst / Miramonte, helping make our neighborhoods safer! 

 

Blue 6 - 61 acres

Gold 4 - 66 acres

Red 7 - 42 acres

Teams Gold 4 and Red 7 were also aided by the California Conservation Corps.

Under the direction of SRCD's Chelsea Hutchens, they worked hard in fuel reduction and fire preparedness in Pinehurst, Miramonte, and Dunlap.

Fun Fact! The Teams hauled over 5 tons of brush to be masticated or chipped in one month!!​
